SecNumCloud: a qualified cloud, and a configuration that holds

A SecNumCloud-qualified host does not guarantee the configuration of what you deploy on it. Ctadel inspects your resources on OUTSCALE, Scaleway and OVHcloud and cites the technical requirements of the 3.2 framework on the findings concerned.

SecNumCloud: a qualified cloud, and a configuration that holds

What Ctadel checks

The configuration of resources on OUTSCALE’s cloudgouv-eu-west-1 region and on the other French clouds: encryption, network segmentation, identity and key management, logging. The rules concerned cite the SecNumCloud 3.2 requirement.

  • OUTSCALE’s SecNumCloud region inspected like the others
  • Identities matched between your qualified and non-qualified clouds
  • Ctadel itself hosted in France, with a single European subprocessor

What Ctadel does not do

Every rule in the catalogue cites the controls of the frameworks it covers. Those references appear in the detail panel of each finding and export with them. Reports per framework are under internal validation; Ctadel claims no certification for itself.

Ctadel is not SecNumCloud-qualified and does not claim to be.
