CNAPP

Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform: a platform that brings into one tool what several products used to do separately: cloud posture, identities, data, Kubernetes, code and vulnerabilities.

Definition

The term designates a platform covering the life cycle of a cloud application, from code to deployment, with a single view of risk. Its value is not the sum of modules but their connection: a vulnerability matters more on an exposed machine that reads sensitive data.

In Ctadel

Ten scanners feed one graph and one findings list. Toxic combinations connect exposure, permissions, data and vulnerabilities to report only the chains that lead somewhere. The six clouds, including Scaleway, OVHcloud and OUTSCALE, are covered at the same level, without an agent.
